CHICAGO P.D.: LaRoyce Hawkins Previews Atwater Being a ‘Key Component’ in the Fight Against the Becks

As Intelligence tries to finally take down the Becks, they’re going to need every tool as their disposal to stop Richard (Lee Tergesen) on the Wednesday, May 24 season finale of CHICAGO P.D.

And while Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) has been at the forefront of that investigation, going undercover to infiltrate himself into the family’s plans, Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) will also play a vital role in attempted takedown.

“It was important for me to show a balance, because you can’t fight hate with more hate,” Hawkins tells Give Me My Remote in the video below. “And so as love becomes the only tool we have that can combat hate, I think we see Atwater lead with love and instability…Moving forward, he’s going to have to continue to show that mental toughness and fortitude, because he does become a key component in how we’re able to take down the white supremacy at the end.”
