Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

GORDON RAMSAY’S FOOD STARS: First of all, and most importantly, $110,000 to St. Jude’s is incredible. An incredible, worthy cause.

But oh my God the Blue Team freezing in front of everyone made me want to crawl into the ground and hide for the rest of eternity. And then it was mortifying with the bad jokes and the Elvis impersonation. I really wish they had leaned into Sydney’s real ordeal instead of shtick. Would it have been enough to swing things their way? Maybe not. But it might not have been such an extreme landslide.

I feel a little bad for Elisa, because she did try to cut some of the problems off at the pass, but…no one listened to her. It’s inexcusable, however, she didn’t even ask for a rehearsal of the mortifying presentation. Eesh.

I didn’t realize the teams would be changing every episode, which is good and bad given some of the tension that’s popped up between the contestants in the first couple of episodes. It also will make things intriguing next week when the teams can’t be evenly split up.
