Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

BEAT SHAZAM: Well, Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” would be ruined for me forever if I knew my night gambling on knowing a rock song cost me over $100,000. (To be fair, I don’t blame them at all. Rock is such a vague category and really could have been so many things.)

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: I truly hate these live show formats, because, again, it makes for decent TV, but it’s a wild disservice to the contestants. Only two acts moving on? Come on. I truly have no clue who is going to move on.

DON’T FORGET THE LYRICS: Well, when the cliffhanger resolves with the person getting it wrong, that’s not entirely fun. You know who was fun? Justin. I loved his light-up shoes and he was absolutely gutsy with some of his guesses; he would guess the wrong word and immediately fix it post-singing. (I’m dying to know what his Taylor Swift songs would have been, though.)
