STARS ON MARS crowned a winner in its season 1 finale.
With five celebronauts remaining, first, the contestants had to turn on each other—ranking who was most valuable, 1-5, with the bottom two getting cut. The duo eliminated? Cat Cora and Paul Pierce.
Left to battle it out was Adam Rippon, Tinashe, and Porsha Williams Guobadia. (Host William Shatner revealed the trio got the exact same score to move forward, too.) The trio answered trivia questions, with Rippon coming in first—and getting a head start on the final challenge. (Assembling a satellite to send a message back to Earth.)
With Tinashe and Williams Guobadia facing off, Tinashe was victorious. As Williams Guobadia left “Mars,” Tinashe raced to catch up with Rippon and try to assemble her own satellite. Ultimately, Rippon was successful—and “broadcast” his message, which included the message that “Life is all about the journey and the connections you make”—winning the first season of the show.
Do you think the right person won?
