SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE: Pete Davidson, Bad Bunny Set as First Season 49 Hosts
October 4, 2023 by Marisa Roffman
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE will return for its 49th season on Saturday, October 14, NBC announced.
Hosting the premiere will be Pete Davidson. Davidson, a former cast member, will be making his SNL hosting debut.
He’ll be joined by Ice Spice, who will be making her show debut as a musical guest.
Bad Bunny will pull double duty on October 21 as both host and musical guest. This marks his hosting debut and second appearance as musical guest.
The entire season 48 cast will return; they’ll be joined by Chloe Troast, who will be a featured player.
The season was initially delayed due to the WGA strike, which concluded last month; though the SAG-AFTRA strike is ongoing, the SNL cast contracts are in a category that is not currently on strike. (Davidson was supposed to host the May 6 episode, which was canceled due to the WGA strike.)
