Tracy Spiridakos will exit during the upcoming season 11 of CHICAGO P.D., a source has confirmed to Give Me My Remote.
Spiridakos originated the role of Hailey Upton in season 4, portraying the character for almost 140 episodes across the ONE CHICAGO universe and a crossover with CBS’ FBI.
Though the finale didn’t hint at Upton’s exit—Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) was shot, and gravely injured—the character’s personal life was thrown into turmoil in season 10 when her husband, Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) quit Intelligence and re-enlisted…and extended his commitment without talking to her.
The actress has also starred in BATES MOTEL, REVOLUTION, and MACGYVER.
Variety was first to report Spiridakos’ exit.
