CBS will have a special airing of the first two episodes of Paramount+ series LAWMEN: BASS REEVES on Sunday, November 12. (The series first bowed on November 5 on the streamer.)
According to CBS, “Revealing the untold story of the most legendary lawman in the Old West, LAWMEN: BASS REEVES follows the journey of Reeves (David Oyelowo) and his rise from enslavement to law enforcement as one of the first Black U.S. Deputy Marshals west of the Mississippi. Banks, Demi Singleton, Forrest Goodluck, Barry Pepper, Grantham Coleman, Donald Sutherland, and Dennis Quaid.
The cast includes Shea Whigham and Garrett Hedlund as guest stars, and recurring stars Joaquina Kalukango, Lonnie Chavis, Tosin Morohunfola, Dale Dickey, Rob Morgan, Ryan O’Nan, Margot Bingham, Mo Brings Plenty, Justin Hurtt-Dunkley, and Bill Dawes. The series was created by Chad Feehan.
