TRANSPLANT Exclusive Clip: Mags Realizes She Needs Theo’s Help with a Patient

Mags (Laurence Leboeuf) is back to work on the Thursday, November 16 episode of TRANSPLANT—but she needs a little bit of help with her patients.

Enter Theo (Jim Watson), who is recruited to help Mags position a man who needs an abscess drained…but Mags is surprised when she returns to find Theo has done the procedure himself.

“He’s my patient, Theo, all I needed help with was positioning him,” Mags insists in the exclusive clip below.

“And I came in and took over,” Theo allows. “I should have paged you, Mags.”

The gesture doesn’t help as much as he intends, because Mags realizes the patient’s distress would have made it so she would have been (figuratively) backed into a corner. “If I had been here when he was thrashing, what even would I have done?” she asks.

Theo tries to reassure his friend she did the right thing: She called him to help her out. But, despite his best effort, she’s still unnerved.

“You know, I knew in order for me to make this work, I’d  have to give less,” she admits. “But I didn’t realize to accommodate that, I’d be making other people do more.”
