THE VOICE Introduces Super Save—Who Did Niall Bring Back?

[Warning: This post contains spoilers for the Tuesday, November 21 episode of THE VOICE.]

As teased on the previous (new, non-recap) episode of THE VOICE, the competition series introduced a new “save” component for the show: a Super Save.

Leading into the Playoff round, each coach got the aforementioned Super Save, which allowed them to bring back one contestant to the show—either from their own team or another coach’s team.

With Team Niall taking center stage in the first episode of the Playoffs, coach Niall Horan picked his former team member Julia Roome, who was eliminated in the Knockouts.

But the reunion didn’t last long: With Team Niall needing to be cut from six singers to three, Roome didn’t make the cut to move on to the next round. (Huntley, Mara Justine, and Nini Iris were chosen by their coach to go forward; Claudia B. and Alexa Wildish joined Roome in being cut.)
