About Last Night…THE VOICE, KITCHEN NIGHTMARES, and WEAKEST LINK

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Well, I thought Jacquie Roar had the performance of the night with “The Chain.”

The Super Save isn’t working out super great so far: We’re 0/3 with them moving forward…if we go 0/4 tomorrow (which I haven’t seen yet), I wonder if they’ll shake things up next season. (Or in Fall 2024, since they already started production on the next season.)

KITCHEN NIGHTMARES: BOTOX PARTY AT THE RESTAURANT? Look, I’ve never had Botox, but shouldn’t you be not moving your face (AKA eating and drinking) in the immediate aftermath? I would think? What a weird choice.

That being said, I’m glad Kelly got space from her co-owner. I know he was back at the end, but hopefully for her sake things are now better.

WEAKEST LINK: Oh my God, they ran the chain in the first round?! I don’t know I’ve ever seen that before? (To be fair, I’ve only watched the Jane Lynch version.) But then on the flip side, the penultimate round found them only banking money from one question—and getting two right—so it really was a game of extremes.

But it was a fun holiday episode! You couldn’t really bury this if it was a catastrophe, but it ended up being a solid game—and, naturally, Santa won.
