Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

TRANSPLANT: It feels like it’s a universal theme on TV that if you dare have a dinner party, things are going to go, uh, awry. And oh my God. I could have watched an entire episode of just that, to be honest. That Bash and Mags fight? PAIN. Hamza Haq and Laurence Leboeuf were absolutely incredible in that sequence, as well as their softer moment post-explosion at the end of the episode. Both have been through so much and are still working through, yes, a lot of trauma, it makes sense they’d have fights and self-doubt like that.

Also, June getting physically attacked by a racist patient for trying to help her…everyone needs a vacation.

LEGO MASTERS: It’s good when builds are not disasters, but, man, they make weeks like this hard to grapple with. Kelly and Emilee’s build was gorgeous, and really could have moved forward. It would have been one thing if the coaster was family-friendly with no bells and whistles in the outside design, but, man, their whole layout was gorgeous. Alas.
