Back in March, THE X-FILES creator Chris Carter made the surprise announcement that the franchise was potentially on the verge of being revived by Ryan Coogler.
While details were scarce at the time, a source confirmed Coogler’s new take was not being developed for Fox. Additionally, the intention is for the new story to be centered around a diverse cast.

Paramount+ has released a new trailer for its FRASIER revival.
According to the streamer, “the new series follows Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. Frasier has re-entered the building!”
In the new trailer, Frasier uproots his life while trying to reunite with his son. Obviously, there is mayhem in store.

Apple TV+ has revealed photos and a trailer for its new limited series LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY, based on the best-selling novel by Bonnie Garmus. The eight-episode show stars Brie Larson.
According to the streamer, “Set in the early 1950s, LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY follows Elizabeth Zott (played by Larson), whose dream of being a scientist is put on hold in a patriarchal society. When Elizabeth finds herself fired from her lab, she accepts a job as a host on a TV cooking show, and sets out to teach a nation of overlooked housewives — and the men who are suddenly listening — a lot more than recipes.”

Hundreds of showrunners picketed the Fox lot on Tuesday, September 12 to show their ongoing solidarity amidst the WGA strike.
“There’s been some things in the press—very, very recently, perhaps—that might suggest there’s a dissident group, which is not the case,” Amy Berg (WARRIOR NUN, CAPER, EUREKA), who organized the picket, tells Give Me My Remote. “We have probably close to 300 showrunners here…If that’s not a big sign of solidarity, I don’t know what is.”
