ELSBETH Exclusive: CBS Encourages Viewers to ‘See Things Elsbeth’s Way’ in Cheeky New Promo

ELSBETH, a new spinoff from THE GOOD WIFE and THE GOOD FIGHT universe, bows on CBS on Thursday, February 29, and the network has found a cheeky way to promote it: A perspective-shifting ad campaign encouraging viewers to “see things Elsbeth’s way.”

In the new show, Carrie Preston reprises the title character, “an astute but unconventional attorney who utilizes her singular point of view to make unique observations and corner brilliant criminals alongside the NYPD. After leaving her successful legal career in Chicago to tackle a new investigative role in New York City, Elsbeth finds herself jockeying with the toast of the NYPD, Captain C.W. Wagner (Wendell Pierce), a charismatic and revered leader. Working alongside Elsbeth is Officer Kaya Blanke (Carra Patterson), a stoic and ethical officer who quickly develops an appreciation for Elsbeth’s insightful and offbeat ways.”

The first spot—which turns the framing of the scene on its side—debuted during the GOLDEN GLOBES, featuring season premiere guest star Stephen Moyer.

Now, Give Me My Remote can exclusively debut the next promo in the series, which finds Elsbeth doing a bit of investigating—and trying to convince Wagner to ice skate. (It goes exactly as well as you’d expect.) Watch the cute spot now!
