FBI: MOST WANTED: Edwin Hodge on Nina’s Dynamic with the Fugitive Task Force

The Fugitive Task Force once again got a new member in FBI: MOST WANTED’s fifth season, but this time it was a familiar face: FBI’s Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten).
“Obviously, she’s not a foreign character to the world here,” FBI: MOST WANTED star Edwin Hodge, who plays Ray Cannon, tells Give Me My Remote. “But he welcomes the new agent with open arms…with Nina, she comes in as a fireball. She really does. She’s introduced as a fireball and they’ve kept her consistent in that way.”
“Her interactions with Ray, it’s business,” he continues. “It’s fun, but it’s business. As far as the development of their relationship, there’s a scene [early in the season] where she and I [connect and it’s clear] this is our relationship. This is our friendship. This is our business-ship. This is where we stand. It’s light-hearted, it’s fun.”
But it’s not that unique, Hodge points out, as Ray has good relationships with the entire team. “He’s that way with everybody,” he says. “He’s a team player. So I don’t think there’s much that that changes. Things can be very, very consistent…she just rolls into a very consistent team.”
