About Last Night…THE MASKED SINGER, WILD CARDS, and FAMILY GUY
March 7, 2024 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!
THE MASKED SINGER: Look, this is a show built on gimmick, but I miss the days when it took itself a bit more seriously. When it wasn’t a one-off appearance by Big Name Celebrities who self-unmasked. Alas.
WILD CARDS: I know the point of view was softened, and I get where she’s coming from, but the water/teapot comparison about therapy made me cringe. That being said, Max and Ellis going undercover was once again fun; Ellis straight-up refusing to play with the dolls made me laugh out loud.
FAMILY GUY: Okay, the FG writers having multiple references to them airing on Sunday, after BOB’S BURGERS, was very funny since they got punted to Wednesdays. (Which is so, so, so weird.) And then the BOB’S CAMEO at the end was the icing on the cake.
