ABC Orders Joshua Jackson-Led DR. ODYSSEY to Series

ABC has ordered DR. ODYSSEY, a new drama series co-created by Ryan Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz, and Joe Baken, to series. Joshua Jackson will star and executive produce the show.

Details about the show’s plot are being kept quiet. According to Deadline, who first reported the order, it is “believed to be a medical procedural” and “set on a cruise ship.”

Paris Barclay is set to direct the pilot and executive produce the series. Eric Paquette, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, and Nissa Diederich will also serve as executive producers.

DR. ODYSSEY is currently set to debut this fall.

Jackson is a long-time TV vet, starring in shows like DAWSON’S CREEK and FRINGE, as well as recent series FATAL ATTRACTION and DR. DEATH.
