THE PITT: Max Orders Noah Wyle-Led Medical Drama

Max has ordered THE PITT, a new medical drama, straight-to-series. (The initial order is for 15 episodes.)

The series, which will star/be executive produced by Noah Wyle, “is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.” R. Scott Gemmill will serve as showrunner and John Wells will serve as an executive producer, making it a mini-ER reunion.

Scott Gemmill, and Noah Wyle to develop this new series has already been an exhilarating process,” said Sarah Aubrey, Head of Max Original Programming, in a statement. “Their passion, creativity, and dedication to storytelling elevate every aspect of the project, and together, we’re poised to deliver a compelling and authentic portrayal of today’s medical world that will captivate audiences and leave a lasting impact.”
