ABC Renews 9-1-1

9-1-1 has been renewed for an eighth season, ABC announced. This will mark the show’s second season on ABC. (It moved from Fox between seasons 6 and 7.)
The news comes as the series is on the cusp of airing its 100th episode.
9-1-1 was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear. The drama stars Angela Bassett as Athena Grant, Peter Krause as Bobby Nash, Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Buckley, Oliver Stark as Evan “Buck” Buckley, Kenneth Choi as Howie “Chimney” Han, Aisha Hinds as Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, Ryan Guzman as Eddie Diaz and Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz.
