FBI: INTERNATIONAL Exclusive Clip: Smitty Asks Her Mother for Help with a Case

“Touts” – When a former member of the Irish Republican Army turned U.S. citizen is shot while in London with his son touring youth football academies, Smitty and the Fly Team work to hunt down the people responsible as the group becomes increasingly violent. Smitty (Eva-Jane Willis) has an uncomfortable reunion with her parents on the Tuesday, May 7 episode of FBI: INTERNATIONAL when she seeks out her mother’s help in location a possible source for their latest case.

“It’s a bit of a shocker to Smitty’s workmates, and I presume to the audience, as well, when Smitty reveals that her mother might be the key to getting some insider information about the IRA,” Willis previously shared with Give Me My Remote. “We obviously didn’t know that Smitty’s mum would have any affiliation with what was a terrorist group in Ireland.”

In an exclusive clip from the hour, “Touts,” Raines (Carter Redwood) charms Smitty’s mother, Scarlett (Pippa Haywood), as they ask her about old family friend Niall (Patrick Bergin).

“I stitched up some of his mates after a raid on the pub where he worked,” Scarlett recalls with a laugh in the video below. “He offered all of the nurses free drinks.”

Smitty, however, isn’t amused. “Those mates were IRA leaders.”

“If someone was hurt, I helped them,” Scarlett replies.

But when Smitty tries to convince her mother to get Niall to help the Fly Team, Scarlett is unconvinced, noting they haven’t spoken in years and, after all, he was a criminal. “The last thing he wants is a call from the police,” she says. “Please, promise you’ll drop this and leave the past alone.”
