About Last Night…MASTERCHEF: GENERATIONS and GORDON RAMSAY’S FOOD STARS
May 30, 2024 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!
MASTERCHEF: GENERATIONS: Well, we got a number of sob stories with the kids (I know that’s not what they technically are, but…kids of this competition), so I can’t imagine how intense it’s going to be for the rest of the auditions.
GORDON RAMSAY’S FOOD STARS: This almost felt a bit too chaotic for a first episode, because no one knew each other and we didn’t know them, either. So while there was some drama and noticeable characters—kind of smarmy to actively steal customers and also pretty dumb to make it known there was drama within your group; there were obvious consequences for one of those actions—most people kind of blurred together. (I mean, unless you had to dress up like a pepper for entertainment.)
That being said, it was correct for Tyler to be cut. He made a scene, made it so the customers couldn’t properly step up, and didn’t stop the poaching…at least in the edit, it didn’t seem like he added anything significant. Alas.
