THE BEAR Season 1 to Get FX Run

Ahead of THE BEAR’s season 3 bow on FX on Hulu (on Thursday, June 27), the first season of the series will have a special linear airing on FX.

In season 1, the comedy “follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, a young chef from the fine dining world, who comes home to Chicago to run his family sandwich shop after a heartbreaking death in his family. A world away from what he’s used to, Carmy must balance the soul-crushing realities of small business ownership, his strong-willed and recalcitrant kitchen staff and his strained familial relationships, all while grappling with the impact of his brother’s suicide. The Bear is about food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty of Sense of Urgency and the steep slippery downsides. As Carmy fights to transform both the restaurant and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveal themselves as his chosen family.”

Here’s when the episodes will air, kicking off at 10/9c each night:

• Sunday, June 2: Episode One (“System”) and Two (“Hands”)
• Monday, June 3: Episode Three (“Brigade”) and Four (“Dogs”)
• Tuesday, June 4: Episode Five (“Sheridan”) and Six (“Ceres”)
• Wednesday, June 5: Episode Seven (“Review”) and Eight (“Braciole”)
