About Last Night…NAME THAT TUNE, THE 1% CLUB, and WEAKEST LINK

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

NAME THAT TUNE: Two games in a row using the song title “Perfect”? But also different ones?! Haha, oh boy. (Also, I thought they meant Pink at first for the red-headed singer comment and were talking about her phase of very fuchsia hair.) But, man, what a difference when it’s civilian players…it’s actually good and interesting gameplay!

THE 1% CLUB: I do find it fun that there are families competing against each other here; it’ll be interesting if it ever comes down to them in the final question.

As someone casually playing the game at home, man, that round number question was confusing. I know it was supposed to be! But…yeah, there were multiple ways it could be read, is all I’m going to say.

I actually loved that we had six people in the final round and two people got the right answer. Yeah, it’s less money for them, but it’s more interesting when you have multiple winners.

WEAKEST LINK: TIL soft drinks are called that because they don’t have alcohol?! As someone who drinks them every day, I had no clue.

A guy winning on a question about the glass ceiling? Oyyyyy. And, yeah, it really does suck for Briana…not that you want the contestants to be desperate, but having the winner be blasé about money kind of sucks. Not a great look for Brandon. (Also: Troi should have been eliminated earlier, based on his gameplay.)
