ST. DENIS MEDICAL: NBC Orders Additional Season 1 Episodes

NBC has ordered additional season 1 episodes of the upcoming comedy ST. DENIS MEDICAL, Give Me My Remote has confirmed.
The new series—which was first ordered in June 2023 and was delayed from making a debut during the 2023-24 season due to the industry strikes—has received an order for an additional five episodes. This brings its season 1 order up to 18 episodes.
From Eric Ledgin and SUPERSTORE/AMERICAN AUTO creator Justin Spitzer, ST. DENIS MEDICAL is “a mockumentary about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity.” Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Kahyun Kim, Mekki Leeper, and Kaliko Kauahi star.
The comedy will make its debut Tuesdays this fall on NBC.
Deadline was first to report the additional episode order.
