About Last Night…MASTERCHEF: GENERATIONS and GORDON RAMSAY’S FOOD STARS

Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

MASTERCHEF: GENERATIONS: It’s interesting the team element is coming into play so early in the season. Like, yes, it’s in the name, but people were specifically targeting other teams (in their trash talk), not even having a “my team versus EVERYONE else” mentality. It’ll be intriguing to see if it becomes a real thing later.

GORDON RAMSAY’S FOOD STARS: Oh my God, this was like watching a slow-motion trainwreck. Like, to be fair, I can understand Team Vanderpump not knowing about the international restrictions about advertising to kids; them downplaying how sweet it was, though?! Like, yeah, it’s not a healthy snack, but you cannot be irresponsible about it. And pitching it as a rare treat is not something a company that makes cheap candy wants to hear. (Do I want Twix now? Yes.)

But, my goodness, for as bad as Team Vanderpump’s presentation was, I’m surprised they were beaten that badly. I do wonder how much Maria Laura accidentally sabotaged them when she was trying to downplay how sweet and sugar-filled the bar was to the Mars execs.

So, if Team Vanderpump loses again, are they going to demolish teams? Or due to Lisa being here, are we going to be dealing with this format no matter what through the end of the season?
