SLOW HORSES: Apple TV+ Sets September Season 4 Release
June 27, 2024 by Marisa Roffman
SLOW HORSES season 4 will bow on Wednesday, September 4, Apple TV+ announced. The first two episodes will drop at once, before shifting to a weekly release; the season finale will be released on October 2.
The upcoming season is based on “Spook Street,” the fourth novel in the Mick Herron spy series “Slough House.” According to the streamer, “Season 4 opens with a bombing that detonates personal secrets, rocking the already unstable foundations of Slough House.”
The series stars Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, “the brilliant but misanthropic leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes as they frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world.” Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan and Jonathan Pryce are returning, with Hugo Weaving, Joanna Scanlan, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, and James Callis joining the cast. The series was adapted for television by Will Smith.
The series has already been renewed for season 5, which will be adapted from the fifth novel in the series, “London Rules.”
