CHICAGO MED: Dominic Rains Exits

It’s official: Dominic Rains has exited CHICAGO MED, Give Me My Remote has confirmed.

Rains’ character, Dr. Crockett Marcel, was in an emotionally devastated place in the season 9 finale, reeling from the loss of a young patient (and the father’s subsequent suicide)…which brought up his lingering trauma over the loss of his own child. Ultimately, it was suggested he take time to process the losses.

It’s currently unknown whether Rains will return for a guest spot to wrap up his storyline. Rains joined the series in season 5 and appeared in nearly 100 episodes of the ONE CHICAGO franchise.
