Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

NAME THAT TUNE: Well, I knew “Jeepers Creepers” because of THE X-FILES, so I feel good about my life choices today.

An okay two games, but Julie and “Marry Me”/”Marry You” hurt. At least this was a very, very clear wrong wrong versus people who say, like, a word too much.

LOVE ISLAND USA: These freakin’ men…

I get Casa Amor is part of the experience. I’m not even really judging any of them for going (though them having the choice certainly hurt the women), but several of the more serious ones said they’d at least take a beat to see what happens and respect their current pairings. Nooooooooooooope. Even Aaron was heart-eyes over someone else immediately. And, honestly, given how fast Kordell caved (to, uh, a woman who made her target in Casa very clear), I worry this is going to really hurt Serena and set her back with any future guy.

(Legitimately, how does any woman want their friend to be with Rob…? I have questions for Kaylor about her rooting for Liv and Rob.)

THE 1% CLUB: If you know me, you know I was rooting for Derrick.

The compass question was hard, because the instructions weren’t actually clear, which is an interesting problem the show has had multiple times. To be clear, some people got it correct! I’m not saying it was impossible. But it wasn’t clear if the word needed to be input as a whole or if the letters were put in there somewhere. I don’t know if anyone involved with the show thinks it’s a problem, but it’s one thing for people to get questions wrong, even if they seem easy. It’s kind of annoying when the wording is so vague it could be read multiple ways.

A bummer that there were three people at the final question and all got it wrong!!! (Also, “listen up” made me think of musical notes. But the rhyming scheme at least makes sense.)
