About Last Night…LOVE ISLAND USA, AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, and PASSWORD

Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

LOVE ISLAND USA: Put (basically) all the Casa men on a boat and strand them in the middle of the ocean, please.

Like, the men who were in couples were going to quasi-hold each other accountable. And rather than doing that, they egged each other on. (And egged the women on to pursue the guys.) And it’s not about not testing connections!! They should. They should be having conversations, etc. But rather than actually do that, it feels like the guys who were in the most committed relationships—looking at you, Aaron and Kordell—zeroed in on a girl and immediately got very handsy, very fast. (Also, they got that physical on night one. Yeah, Casa moves fast, but that was faster than even the Villa life.) And the way they were talking about these new girls?! Good lord. Even if they come back single, it’s going to be hard for those relationships to survive this.

I do feel awful for the Villa women, who are desperately trying to cling to hope their men aren’t being as trashy as they are. And I do worry this won’t end well for Kaylor and Serena. Sigh. Again, these men are traaaaash.

(Also, Rob is single in Casa. Not that he deserves good things, either, but we’ve barely seen anything about him socializing. Is he going to go back with someone? Is he trying? Or…)

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: The T group….WHAT. And what a bummer start with so many bad acts. (Sorry, I’m including the TT Brothers in there.) Also, it happened later in the episode, but WTF to the magician whose entire act was flipping off the audience.

Attraction Juniors was probably my favorite act of the night, though I also absolutely loved Erica Rhodes, too.

PASSWORD: Okay, wow, Wiz was GREAT in the final round. But, wow, Jimmy Fallon not getting “smooth” was PAINFUL. That being said, the squeaky, small voice for saying “burger” as a clue for slider? Maybe the best final round bonus clue we’ve gotten so far.
