About Last Night…LOVE ISLAND USA and The 1% CLUB

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

LOVE ISLAND USA: Well, the Casa drama is still going on. Honestly, that social media game should have been much, much, much harsher on the guys—they deserved it. (Also, Kendall still keeps bashing the women. You already got called out on this!!! STOP BEING GROSS.)

The Serena-Kordell-Daia situation keeps getting worse. Kordell is clear he actually cares about and wants Serena but isn’t being upfront with Daia about it. Now Daia—who was already clear she had a target—being in Kordell’s brother’s comments? (And then having a shoddy defense for it.) Yikes.

While I think what Aaron did at Casa was gross, his joke about the shower honestly was probably among the more tame elements of what Kaylor doesn’t know. And, sorry, Daniela doesn’t seem like she had agency in any of this. She was locked in on Aaron, until he chose Kaylor…and then she and Rob pivoted to each other. From what we saw, it’s not like she made the decision to pursue him, and, yeah, it also kind of felt like she wanted to stay on the show, no matter what it took. (Poor Kenny realizing he may have been played in a similar way. Also, have Rob and Liv forgotten they liked each other, or…?)

I do hope JaNa and Kenny can find their way back to each other; it seems like they made a good start. And Miguel has already figuratively dumped his Villa girl.

THE 1% CLUB: Okay, the clock hand question was HARD and I would not have gotten that. But it was a great game, a great episode, with so many winners. (I almost missed that last question because I forgot “ant” counted for bugs. But it’s fun to have “victory” be the winning word.)
