Ellen Pompeo is sticking around on GREY’S ANATOMY.

Pompeo, who officially exited the ABC medical drama as a series regular in season 19 (and then recurred in season 20), will return for at least seven episodes of the upcoming 21st season, Give Me My Remote has confirmed.

According to Deadline, who was first to report the news, the episode count could grow to as many as 14 installments. (GREY’S is expected to produce 18 episodes for the upcoming season.)

Season 21 of GREY’S ANATOMY will also see the return of former regular Jason George, who had moved over to spinoff STATION 19 for the past seven seasons. The series will also be moving to a new time slot (Thursdays at 10/9c) and will be celebrating its 20th anniversary (on March 27) during the upcoming season.
