Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

CELEBRITY WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE: TIL Ving Rhames did the Arby’s ads?! (Maybe I knew that a decade ago, but Adult!Marisa absolutely forgot that.)

John Stamos not knowing the SVU question killed me. He was on the show! He met his wife on the show! It talked about something that was actually newsworthy in the past couple of months! (Beyond TV circles.) Initially, I laughed because I thought he’d answer it so easily/fast, and then…well, at least he got it right. Eventually.

GORDON RAMSAY’S FOOD STARS: Oh my God, the Woofsky shot pitch talking about how animals don’t live long enough…I get the intention. It’s a great intention. But oh my God, I was covering my face as I was watching.

I went into the final hour knowing who won—the first episodes where that was the case—so it’s possible I’m a bit biased in how I viewed the hour, but, man, Jess’ presentation was great and emotional and it felt like a no-brainer she won. And having her mom there/the crowd cheering her on when she allowed the emotions to come to the forefront? Ugh, my heart. A great win.

(That being said, I am kind of surprised a Team Vanderpump person won. I didn’t think it would be rigged, but I thought they might have a steeper hill to climb.)

BIG BROTHER: Angela lost her mind…oh boy.

Look, she was not wrong. Matt’s comments in the HOH room were not okay and felt a little too pointed. Did they deserve that outburst? Absolutely not. And, frankly, so much of her rant was undercut by her calling him crazy eyes…what?!?! You can make the point he’s a snake who not-so-vaguely threatened you without picking on what you perceive to be a physical flaw.

It’s also sad, because people clearly did like and trust her. Now? She blew up her game. She’ll be really lucky if she can make it through next week’s elimination.

CLAIM TO FAME: The telephone game!!! As if that challenge hasn’t been hard enough, they added in all those twists?! My goodness. I’m shocked they got any of them.

We’re at zero correct guesses so far this season, which feels absolutely bonkers? And, wow, I would have never guessed Miguel was related to Jamie Lee Curtis…he played the game a little too hard, but I also get where he was coming from: He’s young and wanted to help his family. It’s not just a game to/for him.
