DEXTER: RESURRECTION: Michael C. Hall to Reprise His Role of Dexter in New Series

Paramount+ with Showtime has ordered another DEXTER series: DEXTER: RESURRECTION is coming in 2025, with Michael C. Hall reprising his role of Dexter Morgan.

This comes on the heels of DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN, a prequel about young Dexter (starring Patrick Gibson; Hall will narrate the inner voice of the young Dexter), which is currently in production.

Hall reprise his iconic role as Dexter Morgan in Showtime’s most successful series ever,” said Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO and President/CEO, Showtime & MTV Entertainment Studios, in a statement. “While DEXTER: RESURRECTION will appeal to the tens of millions of longtime fans, DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN will introduce a whole new generation of viewers into this iconic series by starting from the beginning, which is sure to satisfy existing audiences as well.”

ORIGINAL SIN will bow in December. RESURRECTION is set to launch Summer 2025.
