THE ROOKIE: Tru Valentino Exits

Tru Valentino has exited THE ROOKIE as a series regular, Give Me My Remote has confirmed.

Valentino joined the series in 2021, playing Aaron Thorsen, an officer who had previously been wrongly convicted of a murder. (Notably, Valentino had to spend last hiatus trying to hide the fact he was still with the show, after his character’s fate was left up in the air between seasons 5 and 6.)

Aaron was also entangled in season 6’s big mystery, as his job-mandated therapist was part of the larger (still technically ongoing) conspiracy…and she was manipulating everyone. (Not to mention recording her patients’ therapy sessions.) As of now, the season 6 finale will be Valentino’s final appearance on the show.

Season 7’s (which will bow in 2025) cast has already expanded, though: The series will be introducing new rookies, played by Deric Augustine and Patrick Kelehe.
