Jared Padalecki has landed his next TV role: The actor will guest star star on the upcoming third season of FIRE COUNTRY, Give Me My Remote has confirmed. The actor first referenced the guest spot over the weekend at Steel City Con.

According to Deadline, the actor will play “Camden, a SoCal firefighter and maverick with a surfer swagger who is a force to be reckoned with and immediately recognizes Bode’s (Max Thieriot) raw talent.” Though this is set to be a recurring role, the trade also says there is a potential for the character to be spun off to his own series.

The actor just wrapped up a four-season stint headlining WALKER. He has been on televisions consecutively dating back to 2000 thanks to his roles on WALKER, SUPERNATURAL, and GILMORE GIRLS.

FIRE COUNTRY, meanwhile, is already building its franchise out. In addition to the mothership, a spinoff—SHERIFF COUNTRY, which was set up via a backdoor pilot earlier in 2024—will launch during the 2025-26 season.
