Fox Tweaks ACCUSED Premiere Date, MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN Air Time Due to VP Debate
August 16, 2024 by Marisa Roffman
Fox has shifted its planned season premiere of drama ACCUSED.
Thanks to the just-schedule VP debate between Tim Walz and JD Vance on October 1, ACCUSED’s sophomore season will now bow Tuesday, October 8 at 8/7c. (The drama had originally been set to return on October 1 at 8/7c.)
However, Fox will air a scripted hour that night: The second episode of new series MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN will air at 8/7c on October 1, an hour earlier than its normal Tuesdays at 9/8c time period. (MIAST will move back to 9/8c the following week; it also airs at 8/7c for an extended premiere on Tuesday, September 24.)
Here’s the revised Tuesday schedule for Fox…
Tuesday, Sept. 24
8:00-9:30 PM Murder in a Small Town (Special 90-minute Series Premiere)
Tuesday, Oct.1
8:00-9:00 PM Murder in a Small Town
9:00-10:00 PM VP Debate
Tuesday, Oct.8
8:00-9:00 PM Accused (Season 2 Premiere)
9:00-10:00 PM Murder in a Small Town (Time Period Premiere)
