THE RAINMAKER: Milo Callaghan to Play Rudy Baylor

Milo Callaghan has been cast as Rudy Baylor in USA Network’s adaptation of THE RAINMAKER.

In the new series—from CODE BLACK’s Michael Seitzman and based on the John Grisham book by the same title—“Fresh out of law school, Rudy Baylor (Callaghan) goes head-to-head with courtroom lion Leo Drummond (John Slattery) as well as his law school girlfriend. Rudy, along with his boss and her disheveled paralegal, uncover two connected conspiracies surrounding the mysterious death of their client’s son.” The pilot was co-written by Seitzman and Jason Richman; the series also stars Madison Iseman.

In season 1, “Fresh out of law school, Rudy Baylor is an inexperienced attorney with a medical malpractice case against legendary attorney Leo F. Drummond that exposes a shocking conspiracy.”

Callaghan has previously guest starred on DOCTOR WHO, FBI: INTERNATIONAL, and THE SPANISH PRINCESS. He’ll also appear in the upcoming series DUNE: PROPHECY.

Deadline was first to report the casting.
