ELSBETH Exclusive First Look: Rob Riggle and Terry Serpico Guest Star in a Space-Themed Adventure

ELSBETH season 2 is boldly going where no (wo)man has gone before.

An upcoming episode of the quirky CBS procedural finds Elsbeth (Carrie Preston) investigating the death of a billionaire, who dies while training for a trip into space. At the center of the mess? Fellow billionaire Neal Dorsey (played by Rob Riggle).

In an exclusive photo from the hour (above), Neal—in his training gear—is questioned by Elsbeth, her partner Kaya (Carra Patterson), and Captain Wagner (Wendell Pierce).

Additionally, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT vet Terry Serpico will guest star in the hour as Doug Howe. In the photo below, Neal and Doug are sharing some downtime, embracing their inner zen.

ELSBETH follows Elsbeth Tascioni, who is now a consent decree attorney working with the NYPD. After proving Wagner wasn’t secretly dirty in season 1, CBS has teased the sophomore season will feature “new cases and challenges when mistakes of the past come back to haunt Elsbeth, her boss Captain Wagner, and detective in training Officer Kaya Blanke.” Nathan Lane guest stars in the season premiere as an “obsessed opera lover.”
