MASTERCHEF: GENERATIONS has crowned a winner!

After a season that found 20 contestants battling (initially) on behalf of their generations, the Wednesday, September 18 finale found finalists Becca (representing Gen Z), Kamay and Michael (representing for the Millennials) fighting one last battle: the chefs had to cook a three-course meal of an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. Whomever most impressed the judges would get the $250,000 grand prize.

So who won it all? The judges crowned Michael the GENERATIONS victor.

“Winning MASTERCHEF: GENERATIONS has been an incredible and thrilling experience,” Michael said in a statement. “Competing with such talented chefs pushed me to grow and gain confidence in my abilities. The finale was intense, and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to showcase my skills. I’m excited for what the future holds and thankful to everyone who supported me throughout this journey.”

Michael, for his part, had made it clear from his very first audition (which you can rewatch below) how much this meant to him, both personally and as a way to honor his mother, who recently passed away.
