“I just remember that Mariska [Hargitay] and Chris were very sweet and open and inviting and genuine. Even back then...I was on it in the first couple of seasons [but] because it was a Dick Wolf show, it had an established feel when you walked on the set. Even though it was still new in the universe of LAW & ORDER, it felt like it was its own flagship in a way. I really enjoyed my time on set.  My TV wife was Elizabeth Banks. It’s been fun to see our careers grow. I have good memories of my time in New York on that.” (Photo credit: Screengrab/NBC)

(And a bonus of a couple of past guest stars talking about their experiences: Emily Deschanel, Cady McClain, and Lou Diamond Phillips.)
