[Warning: This post contains spoilers for the Monday, September 30 episode of THE VOICE.]
THE VOICE is no stranger to contestants coming back after not getting a chair-turn, but season 26 featured a first: An artist returning after previously making a team.
Felsmere—who was previously known as Kelsey Rey—returned to the stage to audition after making the show in season 1. Back in the show’s first season, she auditioned with “American Boy,” and had Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Christina Aguilera turn their chairs for her. After picking Team Cee Lo, she was eliminated during the Battle Rounds.
Now, she performed “Some Kind of Wonderful”…and got Gwen Stefani and Michael Bublé to turn. This go-round, she picked Team Gwen.
