Things get complicated for CHICAGO MED’s Hannah (Jessy Schram) and Mitch (Luke Mitchell)—again—on the Wednesday, October 9 episode of the NBC drama.

“We left off with Hannah being disappointed in Mitch for not seeing the larger picture of his actions in covering up for Sully,” Schram teases to Give Me My Remote via email. “While she empathizes and understands his reasons, she doesn’t agree with him taking the fall with all he has to lose.”

“In the opening of episode [3] we’ll discover what she had a hand in and why Ripley is so upset,” she continues. “A theme in their relationship is a lack of trust and in this episode, Hannah feels the lack of others’ trust from all directions.”

Troubles also arise for Hannah at work in “Trust Fall” when she treats a mother-to-be who has an undiagnosed condition, which is putting the patient and her child at risk. And, of course, the ED now has two bosses, which makes any tricky situations with a patient even more complex.

“Hannah will have some moments with [Lenox] and is learning who this new person is and what she stands or doesn’t stand for,” Schram previews. “But obviously out of the gate, she’s Team Archer.”

CHICAGO MED, Wednesdays, 8/7c, NBC
