Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Yeah, after a handful of Battle episodes, I can confidently say I prefer the one Save/one Steal versus two Steals. It may seem like a small thing, but we’ve seen so many times when a match-up produces unexpected magic and you can tell the coach in question regrets they can’t keep both. (Especially since two of the coaches are new, too, and are just getting the feel of this.) They also are the only one who really knows how far they’ve come with coaching. I do hope they change things up next season.

It was a solid night of Battles, though. I’m happy Felsmere made it through after she kept talking about being cut at this point last time. Austyns and Jose was a great final Battle, too; I’m not surprised all three other coaches tried to steal Austyns and I’m curious to see which coach he picks. (I cannot believe I did not see the cliffhanger coming, though. I realized it about a half-second before they put up the To Be Continued and started shaking my head and laughing.)
