CHICAGO P.D.: Benjamin Levy Aguilar Ponders the Potential Danger of Reid

Deputy Chief Charlie Reid (Shawn Hatosy) focuses in on Intelligence on the Wednesday, November 20 fall finale of CHICAGO P.D.

And with Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar)—potentially—in the hot seat after Cook’s (Toya Turner) undercover operation (figuratively) blew up and things got very messy with Torres’ informant-turned-lover-turned-ex Gloria (Yara Martinez), what will Reid’s presence mean for the officer?

“[Hatosy]’s such a good actor, right? He’s really incredible,” Aguilar tells Give Me My Remote in the video below. “The truth is, they haven’t told us much about Reid, and I haven’t asked. I actually like the not knowing, because it kind of works with Torres not knowing. So I wish I could say, but…I think maybe they’re keeping it really tight because I have no idea where that’s going. But, clearly, it’s something, right? Because he keeps appearing in very, very specific moments—something’s up there.”

And while the actors have been conscious that something is going on with the Deputy Chief, Aguilar teases his character isn’t totally in the dark. “He’s perceiving some of it, for sure,” he says. “And soon we’ll see a little bit more of that interaction.”
