THE PITT: Max Releases Teaser for New Noah Wyle-Led Medical Drama

THE PITT, the new medical drama starring Noah Wyle, will debut in January, Max announced.
The 15-episode first season—which takes place over 15 hours, in one shift at a hospital—”is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.”

Wyle plays Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, and is joined by co-stars Tracey Ifeachor (Dr. Collins), Patrick Marron Ball (Dr. Langdon), Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Mohan), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Whitaker), Shabana Azeez (Javadi), and Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans).
The series was created by R. Scott Gemmill and is executive produced by Wyle, John Wells, Erin Jontow, Simran Baidwan, and Michael Hissrich. (The show is also at the center of a ER-related lawsuit.)
