Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE SIMPSONS FUNDAY FOOTBALL: I’m not a football person—I’m aware of the scores, generally, because I watch ESPN daily, but I really only watch the Super Bowl (for work)—so this was my first game of the year. It was hilarious, delightful, and wonderfully weird. I have no clue how it would have looked side-by-side (or how far behind, if at all, the stream was from the actual game), but it was delightful to have references and homages in most of the calls, have the little new bits (both animated and in the game), and the little fun bits like “SIMPSONS predicts”…and it be silly facts like, “The scores will be numbers.” Definitely not something that can be done frequently, but fun to see here!

THE VOICE: Well, this is an instance where it feels like the finale song choices may have impacted the rankings. I was pretty sure of the top 3, and now I think…one of the choices may have dropped them lower. Going to be interesting to see the results on Tuesday. (Also, Martha Stewart showing up to serve cocktails was hilarious.)
