Vice President Kamala Harris made a guest cameo on the Saturday, November 2 cold open of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. Harris, who is currently running for president, appeared opposite Maya Rudolph, who portrays the VP on the NBC series.

KITCHEN NIGHTMARES is returning for a new season on Tuesday, January 7 at 8/7c, Fox announced. [This post has been updated to reflect the most accurate premiere date information.]

In KITCHEN NIGHTMARES: ROAD TO SUPER BOWL LIX (which moves to one-hour episodes on Wednesday, January 8 at 8/7c), “The first half of the season is set in New Orleans, the home of Super Bowl LIX, and will air weekly leading up to the big game, with in-episode countdowns by Ramsay and appearances by current and former NFL stars. The season will also provide an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the New Orleans-based restaurants, who under Ramsay’s guidance, will have the chance to be reinvigorated and running prior to the biggest sports weekend of the year. With tens of thousands of football fans descending on the Big Easy during Super Bowl week, the restaurants will have an enormous opportunity to make it or break it. The second half of the season will feature restaurants in Austin and Houston.” (The Super Bowl airs Sunday, February 9 on Fox.)

NBC Sets MACY’S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE Lineup

NBC has set the lineup for the annual MACY’S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE.

The event kicks off at 8:30 AM ET/PT and will run until noon ET/PT on Thursday, November 28. The parade will be simulcast on Peacock, with an encore at 2 PM.

According to NBC, the parade “will be the largest yet with more than 5,000 volunteers, 17 featured character balloons, 22 floats, 15 heritage and novelty balloons, more than 700 clowns, 11 marching bands, 10 performance groups and music’s biggest stars, all welcoming Santa Claus and the holidays. “TODAY’s” Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker will once again join as hosts of the Emmy Award-winning celebration.”

“The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is second to none when it comes to world-class entertainment during the holiday season,” said Jen Neal, Executive Vice President, Live Events and Specials, NBCUniversal Media Group, in a statement. “It’s truly an honor to bring such an iconic event to our viewers year after year and partake in one of the country’s most beloved traditions.” 

“The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a beloved tradition that marks the beginning of the holiday season for millions of live spectators and viewers across the country,” added parade executive producer Will Coss. “A dedicated team of artisans and production experts at Macy’s Studios works year-round to bring this experience to life.
