NBC Bumps Up THE HUNTING PARTY Premiere Date

THE HUNTING PARTY is coming to NBC earlier than planned.

The new drama will now debut on Sunday, January 19 at approximately 7 PM ET/PT, following the NFL divisional playoff game (at 3 PMT ET) between the Philadelphia Eagles vs. the winner of tonight’s Minnesota Vikings-Los Angeles Rams game and NBC NIGHTLY NEWS (which is set to start at 6:30 PM ET).

NBC will now air an encore of THE HUNTING PARTY in its original premiere timeslot (Monday, February 3 at 10/9c), with new episodes continuing on Monday, February 10.

In THE HUNTING PARTY, “A high-concept crime procedural about a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist.”

The series stars Melissa Roxburgh, Nick Wechsler, Patrick Sabongui, Josh McKenzie, and Sara Garcia. The series is co-showrun by JJ Bailey (who also created the series) and Jake Coburn. Thor Freudenthal serves as directing executive producer. Keto Shimizu also is an executive producer.
