FOUND Post-Mortem: Mark-Paul Gosselaar Breaks Down Sir’s Latest Losses

Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) was dealt two blows on the Thursday, February 20 episode of FOUND: First, Gabi (Shanola Hampton) told him that his brother, Christian, had taken his own life. But when Sir tried to tell Gabi not to blame herself—after she refused to play games with Sir (who is imprisoned), which led to a delay in finding Christian–Gabi delivered a final blow: She was done with him.

“You will rot in here and I will heal out there,” she said. “I told you, you no longer have power over me. Goodbye, Hugh. It’s finally over.”

But Sir insisted it would never be over between the two of them. “We are connected,” he said. “We are family.”

Despite the loss of his brother, “I don’t think he has time to process it,” Gosselaar tells Give Me My Remote in the video below. “His only focus is on Gabrielle. That’s how obsessed he is.”

Even with a bit more space, “we never really go back to that well with Christian,” Gosselaar notes. “I played it as an actor…as my focus is on Gabrielle, and there’s just no one else. There’s no other emotions that I can emote for anyone else except for Gabrielle. That’s how dark and deep this character goes with her.”
