Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!

FAMILY GUY: I assumed the episode title was just a boundary-pushing acknowledgment of Lois being a comedian and the similarities between her name and the disgraced comedian. But, nope, she actually went by Lois C.K. Uh, wow. (Though I’m curious how many people got the subtle dig at the real C.K. and his controversy on the theater marquee…)

AMERICAN IDOL: This was so much stronger than the post-OSCARS preview. We got a number of truly great contestants. But, wow, I felt absolutely ancient watching Baylee Littrell. He’s good! But I will feel ancient every single time he’s on my screen, for however far he goes in this competition.

THE GREAT NORTH: Look…I know that beaver would kill me. It was also adorable in its rabidness. Can we keep it?!

GROSSE POINTE GARDEN SOCIETY: I don’t blame Catherine for being suspicious that Tucker wasn’t freaking out. I hope he’s being honest because the notion it made him wake up is nice. Do I trust it? No. But I hope I’m wrong! I want him to be telling the truth.

I’m sorry, Alice’s therapist is awful…once a gun gets brought out, then you call the cops, or…something. They’re clearly not safe to leave. Also, I’m sorry, if you wanted to prove you didn’t shoot a freaking dog, wouldn’t you want the bullet to be tested so it could clear you…?!)

Maybe this is thinking about things too much, but if they’re having to dig up the body because of the garden being uprooted, wouldn’t the best bet be to totally destroy it now? Like, find/build a bonfire and…do what you have to do? Otherwise, yes, you could have someone bury it in their property, but so many things could happen outside of your control which could risk it being discovered. Now you at least have time to plan.

THE EQUALIZER: Oh man, having Robyn and Delilah meet the little kidnapped child prior to him going missing made the stress/pain so much worse. But I do love how D actually was a really important part of the episode with her returning to the mall with flyers; it was a good way to quasi-patch things up with Robyn (given her frustration over Delilah and her boyfriend crashing the car) and also not have the show try to juggle 3-4 separate storylines at once.

THE $100,000 PYRAMID: A really solid opening group of games. I figured we’d get at least one $100,000 winner, but I thought we might actually get two. But fun to have this game show back.
