FBI: MOST WANTED Episode 100 Showcases the Series at Its Best

FBI MOST WANTED episode 100

“100%” – While helping Ethan seek treatment at a VA Hospital, Hana puts an SOS out to the Fugitive Task Force when she is among those taken hostage by an enraged veteran, on the 100th episode of FBI: MOST WANTED, Tuesday, Mar. 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). FBI: MOST WANTED celebrates its 100th episode on Tuesday, March 11, but the occasion now feels bittersweet.

The episode itself is fantastic. “100%” wisely spotlights the two remaining original cast members, who have been underrated MVPs as the series has undergone numerous cast changes over its six-season run: Keisha Castle-Hughes (whose Hana is trapped in a hostage situation in a VA hospital) and Roxy Sternberg (whose Barnes is leading is leading the operations outside). But the hour also features great guest performances, especially from Michael Raymond-James (who has recurred on the show since 2024, portraying Hana’s now-ex, Ethan) and Tobias Forrest (who makes his MOST WANTED debut in “100%”; he was previously a standout guest star in LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME season 4). The episode is tense, emotional, gutting, and suspenseful.

It also comes after one of the best stretches of episodes the show has ever had. 2025 episodes “Ars Moriendi” (which featured the extended one-shot), “68 Seconds,” and “Do You Realize??” (which was co-written by “100%”’s co-writer Wendy West), in particular, would make my personal top 10 list for the series; “100%” joins that group.

But the elephant in the room is that this also comes days after the show was canceled by CBS. The unfortunate timing makes what should be a total celebration—both of the episode itself and of the increasingly rare milestone of any show making it to 100 episodes—less upbeat.

I’m so glad FBI: MOST WANTED is going out (later this season) on this high, but it’s been one of the best procedurals on television this year. It’s frustrating that a show taking big swings, while also showcasing depth to its regular characters, and delivering enjoyable episodes wasn’t rewarded the way it should have been. You never want a show to overstay its welcome, but losing it during its arguable best season hurts, too.

But it’s still worth celebrating the journey. In November 2024, Sternberg was clearly in awe while talking with Give Me My Remote about the series reaching the 100-episode milestone. “I mean, that is a great achievement,” she said at the time. “I cannot believe it…I never would have believed it when I came out to freezing cold New York in March of 2019 to shoot that [episode, which aired as a backdoor pilot in season 1 of FBI], and you told me that this is going to be going for 100 episodes, I would have said, ‘Shut up.’ I would not have believed it. Obviously, I believe it because it’s [from executive producer] Dick Wolf. But it’s just a remarkable achievement.”

“I’m so proud and thrilled and excited and honored to have been on this journey, and grateful—so grateful,” she continued. “But I just wouldn’t have believed it, because you don’t see this very often. So it’s a wonderful achievement. I’m proud and honored.”
